Catawba Baler & Equipment (CBE),  is in the business of providing waste reduction and recycling solutions across the United States.

CBE  sells, warehouses parts for, and services a variety of equipment for densifying, size reduction, conveying, and screening.  The Company does not manufacture the equipment, but represents the manufacturers.  The Company does warehouse many of the parts and has its own service staff and equipment, including well-equipped service trucks. 

Equipment to densify includes balers and compactors that quickly and efficiently convert many materials into tightly packed marketable products.  Inlet and discharge conveyors are available.

Size reduction equipment includes wood waste grinders, shredders, and crushers with small-to-large volume capabilities from paper to rubber, cardboard to tree stumps, plastics to pallets, and even sneakers to refrigerators.  Trommel screens and conveyors are available. 

Conveying systems include steel and rubber belt conveyors for solid waste handling and recycling, metal working conveyors for separating chips from coolant and other materials, and feed and discharge conveyors for separating chips from coolant and other materials, and feed and discharge conveyors from automatic equipment.  Of special note are complete systems from recycling and sorting operations.
